Vzhledem k mému studiu jsem potřebovala flexibilní pracovní dobu. Do Zebra Technologies jsem nastoupila na oddělení závazků (Accounts Payable) na začátku prvního ročníku magisterského studia. S účetnictvím jsem neměla žádné zkušenosti, ale potřebné znalosti jsem získala díky zaškolení a praxi, kterou mi Zebra umožnila. Pak jsem začala pracovat na plný úvazek, a po třech letech se rozhodla získat nové zkušenosti a byla přijata na pozici asistentky ředitele zákaznického oddělení. Accounts Receivable Specialist

Zebra Finance Shared Service Center in Brno consists of collaborative and agile teams, responsible for core finance operational and reporting processes mainly in EMEA and NALA entities. Accounts Receivable department consist of Cash Application and Billing for EMEA & NALA and Collections for EMEA & NALA.

The Accounts Receivable Specialist tracks and resolves outstanding payment issues by enforcing payment terms and collecting past due debts from customers located in assigned country, especially in the USA. We offer flexible working hours with core time from 15:00 to 20:00 with the possibility to work EMEA hours twice per week.

Responsibilities

• Monitors activity of customer accounts located in the US and contacts them regarding late payments, figures out the appropriate method in which to collect payment against delinquent accounts
• Ensures that the cash received from the customers is correctly applied against open invoices
• Establishes and maintains working relationships with customers and recognizes risks associated with managed accounts
• Regularly reviews delinquent accounts with AR Supervisor and reports escalations to senior team members as well as AR Supervisor
• Closely cooperates with the Cash Application, Credit, Sales, Order Management and GL teams, ensures that any issues are resolved in a timely manner
• Adheres to established policies and procedures, ensures compliance with legal and statutory requirements

Qualification

• University degree in Finance/Accounting, ACCA certification a plus
• Requires 1-2 years of professional work experience, preferably form AR environment or Finance
• Excellent communication skills, including excellent spoken and written English
• Creative thinker and proactive approach with professional work attitude, flexible when it comes to change
• Teamwork and cooperate in a global environment and across multiple cultures
• Ability to prioritize effectively, excellent problem-solving abilities, able to work under pressure and handle multiple requests simultaneously
• Strong Excel and Word skills
