Vzhledem k mému studiu jsem potřebovala flexibilní pracovní dobu. Do Zebra Technologies jsem nastoupila na oddělení závazků (Accounts Payable) na začátku prvního ročníku magisterského studia. S účetnictvím jsem neměla žádné zkušenosti, ale potřebné znalosti jsem získala díky zaškolení a praxi, kterou mi Zebra umožnila. Pak jsem začala pracovat na plný úvazek, a po třech letech se rozhodla získat nové zkušenosti a byla přijata na pozici asistentky ředitele zákaznického oddělení. Accounts Payable Specialist II.


The Accounts Payable Specialist Senior is responsible for processing invoices, check requests, expense reports, and perform payment runs in a timely and accurate manner.

This position analyzes and resolves discrepancies, month-end close journal entries, and ensures that financial procedures are consistently followed and works with other areas of the business as well as vendors.


• Process vendor invoices through the payables cycle, taking advantage of vendor discounts while maintaining accurate payables records, ensure vendor invoice quantities and amounts match the purchase order (PO) receipt and are in alignment with Zebra designated signature authority and applicable finance policies.
• Research and review vendor invoice discrepancies and resolve disputes with vendors
• Connect with vendors and employees regarding payment disputes and Accounts Payable procedures and Treasury regarding wire transfer requests
• Execute Debit Memos on return materials authorizations (RMAs) and weekly payment runs and any required special handling for payments
• Review employee expense reports using Zebra's on-line expense reporting tool and release reports for reimbursements per Zebra's travel policy
• Maintain documentation to support internal and external audits
• Pro-actively establish and maintain systems and processes that ensure the integrity of the Company's financial information and local accounting systems and policies that are aligned with corporate accounting policies. Support development of corporate policies as needed
• Train other AP team members if needed, perform various month end accounting processes as required, special projects and duties as assigned


• High School Diploma or equivalent vocational qualification
• Minimum of 2-4 years of proven experience in Accounts Payable Department
• Proficiency level of English
• Intermediate digital literacy, advanced level of Excel is vital, and Outlook
• Working knowledge of Oracle and numerical aptitude
